We are not against war,
we are for peace,
we support peace,
we support all at once global peace,
let us spend military budgets on celebrations,
on enough food for everyone but not just soda pop and potato chips and corporate profits.
We do not wish for enemies,
we prefer friendly relations with the diverse peoples and cultures of the world.
We prefer to travel the world and not be burdened with the emotional trauma of
starvation and slavery and untreated diseases that now greet us on all sides.

To be against war is to be an enemy to those who make war.
We are not their enemies,
they are not our enemies and there is no them,
there is only all of us together.
We are for all those citizens around the world who cannot comprehend
the desire for warmongering and killing and blowing things up.
I dare say, this is the vast majority of the global citizenry.

Yes, when we must, we will all fight,
but we prefer our struggle to be for peace and for eliminating the conditions that thwart it.
We applaud those who defend the world against evil.
However, as we all know, war only perpetuates and breeds new evils.
As soon as war breaks out everyone is a looser.
The winners are those who solve conflicts and crisis before military force is brought to bare.

We want our governments to work hard to prevent the development of new wars
and to bring as swiftly as possible the end of current wars and conflicts.
We do not wish to see brute force win out over diplomatic solutions,
but we do not want to see people suffer merely because diplomacy works too slowly.
Let us feel the suffering of our neighbors as our own and work without ceasing to eleviate it.

In the end, the world is not about governments and its leaders and their military forces.
It is about the vast body of world citizens who are those working
through their tireless daily efforts at maintaining the peace and order of the world.

Let ignorance, starvation, injustice and disease be our enemies.
Let us place the full force of our military and economic might in the
service of the prevention of war through constant well considered efforts.
Let us strive for that day when all nations are at peace all at once and
where starvation is no longer a pandemic.

Let us strategize and coordinate together - those of good will world wide - for
this one and only true victory when all the world may claim
victory over war through the outbreak of a lasting global peace.
War cannot be maintained without popular support.
When the global citizenry works together around the world
to remove its support for armed conflict
war will not have the ability to continue.
When people worldwide chose not to use military force against others
war will not find the needed support.

That day is now near.
What few things prevent the outbreak of global peace?
How shall we, together overcome them?
What will you contribute?

As artists let us begin the design of arches of triumph that we shall
erect in every city to the world peace that we jointly created and
strive to maintain.
Let the words of hope and global unity be inscribed on them
and the global principals that help the world community to maintain peace.

Those who create the world are the first to rule it.
As artists, the first rulers, let our benevolence and good will be known
and our hope and resolve of a better future be expressed
through how we create the world from this time forward.
